La Boca wins the record for the shortest amount of time we spent in any one place in Buenos Aires. It was just that lame and touristy and weird. It was also hot and packed with sweaty tourists (yes, like us) and no actual porteño that wasn't dressed as a tango dancer and posing for photos or selling ugly key chains. Ironically, I really enjoyed the photos I took there. Maybe it's not ironic, really. La Boca is made for tourists and their cameras.
